Someone in town is getting rid of theirs, and I took a picture of it. I think the price was a nice dinner and cheap bottle of wine.

Hope this helps.

I think they are entertaining, mine has gotten friendly, when I feed the tank she comes right over for her share. I like the way the move around the tank, almost cartoonish!! hehehe 4 got along ok? Maybe I will get 3 more than. I also want to start another tank...........someone shoot me now, before this gets outta hand!!

Remember that these guys do better when hosted by an anemone - condylactis is a good choice.

sexys do best in groups of 3 or more. They aslo dont NEED an anemone, they will take to several different soft corals. Fuzzy shrooms, tonga's and rics are good, so are tube anemone's. when they find one they like they tend to stay close by so if you have a larger tank its easier to find them when they have a host :)

I'm working on getting an army of sexies...I think they are awsome little shrimp.

Have you tried Aqua Holics? they had a bunch last week. 5.99 each!

Oh, I wouldn't put sexy shrimp near a tube anemone unless that's what you plan to feed it.

Strangly enough they dont eat sexies. I had 2 that hung out right around the tube anemone for alittle over a year until I sold my 20gal.

They would sit on it and steal food from the anemone all the time.

Maybe I just had a rouge nice anemone, but thats my experience with them.

That is pretty strange behaviour. Did the shrimp move amongst the tentacles, or was it a 'bonsai' run to snatch food before the animal could reel it in?

When the anemone had half its tenticals in to eat the shrimp it would run up and sit on top of the ones that were trying to feed it's self and pull shrimp pieces out. it would sit there for about a min until the anemone had eaten the shrimp and then the sexy would hop off.

The sexies would aways walk in and out of the tenticals but never rub on them. and the anemone would never try to grab the sexies. A few times the tips would touch a shrimp and they'd both jump back...then go back to walking around each other.
