well I used twolittle fishes brand and I couldnt run my skimmer for a week just a little word of caution if your going to use large amounts to secure rocks or something.

are there any brands out there that don't affect the skimming process?

I picked up a tube of Aqua Mend at my local HD. It was only $3 and says that it is safe for use underwater and in saltwater. I used it last night and haven't noticed any adverse reactions from my skimmer.

FWIW, it looks identical to the stuff my LFS sells but at 1/4 the price.

did you uses super glue gel like everyone else?

does using super glue really make that big of a difference? or do people use it just for a peace of mind?

I've used it to attach a couple of my leathers and a couple rocks before I got the epoxy.

AquaMend works for me and you can't beat the price.

I like the Super Glue Gel, but unless you take the LR out to mount the frags you have to fast setting it in place...... Once attached my corals grew right over the rock and firmly attached themselves.... Honestly, I have never used the epoxy putty, so I have no knowledge on the product.
