Any good stores around Ocala? I'm moving there in June and looking for places to buy dry goods and supplies.

There is one store but they are a bit overpriced. I'll get the name and let you know. Other then that, I don't know of any other good stores in Ocala.

Are there any nearby? Like Bellview or Leesburg, Gainsville. I need to find one so I can by a tank for the move. Rather than going around store to store I'd like to know the good ones now.

I need to get a 180 drilled for overflows and have it set up 2 weeks before I get down there. I'll be down there mid june.

When we were there at Easter time I saw one store but didn't get a chance to stop in. It was called Tanks a Lot. Any comments about that store?

That's the store I was referring to. I don't know their prices on tanks but they keep everything nice there. Their coral is about 20% higher then any other store I've been to. Leesburg Pet Center is horrible. Their fish always have some sickness. Their prices on tanks are way overpriced. The only thing they have that is priced decent is fish but I wouldn't get them. Their coral tank is a joke and never get anything new.

There is a place in Tampa that gets tanks at a pretty cheap price. I'll get that name today. My boss bought is 125 6' tank with stand for about 430 dollars. I'd call tanks a lot and see what they offer.

There is Marine Wharehouse in Tampa. They have alot of tanks in stock and their prices aren't bad. Also try Nolan's in Lakeland, I've heard they are the best place for tanks.

Take a ride up to Gainesville and visit Ocean Exotics. It's on Archer Road not far west of I-75. For a 180, they'll have to order it so give them a call.

Standard disclaimer... I don't work there or have any financial interest, etc, etc

The place in Tampa is called Petmart. It's not petsmart though. I dont know the price on the 180 but a 125 with stand is 400 and something. Hope that helps. They can get them drilled too.
