In the store tank, we found a very odd worm. It it about 2 inches long, 1/4 inch wide. It has the bristles of a bristle worm, but has inch long feelers coming off all along it, at least 20 or so of them. It moves very quickly and has a bluish coloration. I no a photo would help, ill try and post one tomorrow.
Thanks
Ben

ewww, no it isnt that. i wasnt able to get a photo of it, but the difference it had with a bristle worm was that is was rounder, blue, and the longer feelers along its body that moved like whips. If anyone knows of a good worm identification website, that would help.

I'm afraid I have one of those awful worms--there's something in my tank that I've only seen about 3 times. It's brown with black and white "feelers" and legs all the way down. The thing has a HUGE mouth--I watched it bite at a big bristleworm several times and I could actually see the mouth opening. (The bristle worm didn't seem to care--he just, uh, sat there.) It's really fast and sucks back into a rock before I can get a picture. As of now I'm operating on the "if I ignore it, it will go away" principle. Can't find a picture like it anywhere.

Here a drawing of what it looks like, and the long feelers coming off were extremely thin and flexible.
