I got some used lights and was cleaning them up. So i thought id list the process.

#1 remove the splash shield
#2 remove the lights
#3 remove the screws holding the reflector
#4 use a small screwdriver and push the slip tabs on the fan shield out, There the outer square holes you can see from the outside.
#5 the whole units comes out the top.
#6 disconect the wire clip
#7 To seprate the plastic grate. Use your screwdriver again to pry them apart at each post.
#8 And in the middle you will find!

Which you can buy HERE (http://www.logicsupply.com/product_info.php/cPath/47/products_id/186) or somewhere else for about $8.

Now here's my disclamer part.
If you break your light fan ect. ect. your fault not mine.
Dont do it while the lights plugged in
Im not exactly sure how ballast's work so they might hold a charge, even if ther not plugged in. I just did the whole thing like its live.

Hmm just had a great idea! With the 12v line right there for the splicing there should be no problem wireing in a couple automotive LED's for moonlighting.
