Tops

After having experimented with no top on my reef, I decided today that, after having my male pink skunk jump out(he is ok), I need a lid. What would you reccomend for a 20H lit by a MH pendant? My main concern is light penetration, not gas exchange(fuge for that). Right now, I am thinking a thin piece of clear acrylic.

Anything solid is going to cloud up with salt spray and water spots. How about Eggcrate? Another option is to seal your canopy or top with eggcrate so there is nothing over the tank, but no where for the fish to jump without hitting the eggcrate and bouncing back into the tank.

My only concern with eggcrate is how it will affect the light in my tank.

This plexiglass is not working well at all.

Not to mention, I have a pendant so there is no canopy to seal up.
