quick question

hello all
I have a leather, have had it for 3 months...everything was great..it has closed up a few times to shed..well the last time (which was a week ago) when it was closed up my emerald decided to make a home of it. now the edges extend polyps (where the crab isn't or hasn't been) but the rest of it won't extend...I'm worried for it.
I guess the question is...should i move the leather to confuse the crab or what?

Whilst I applaud your effort to assist me, I guess I was looking for an answer that didn't have me removing any tank occupants. He isn't eating the leather, just sitting in it.

but eggman, not to be funny or anything but that really is the answer. It is only a matter of time before the crab becomes even more of a pest. :(
