Well after staring at the fallen rocks on the sand for several weeks I finally felt inspired to re-aquascape. I experimented with a PVC rack to support some rock near the top. It worked well but unfortunitly it is a bit noticable. I just keep telling myself it will eventually turn purple with coralline and be covered by the corals when they grow  Here are a few pics let me know what you think...

Looking good. You could easily cover the pvc with small rocks. You could lash them in place with electrical ties.
You could also glue spreading corals like star polyps onto the pvc.

You can also superglue some sand to the PVC :) Do you have the rocks attached to the PVC somehow?

Looks fantastic BTW :) I love openings for fish to swim thru

Thanks. I like the idea of attaching small rocks to the PVC. I want to stay away from starpolyps and the like since eventually this will be an SPS dominated tank :D I would have to take the rack out in order to glue sand to it and that would mean Id have to... dun dun dun... re-aquascape!! The rocks arent attached, there just stacked up there.

i think it looks tyte, but if you dont like teh pvc you could always use an underwter cement such as dingleberrys or varios other epoxy sticks you can find at homedepot and cement the rock together so they would stay.

I thought about using epoxy but that would permanently bond the rocks. It would be near impossible to change things around even a little as corals grow and stuff. On the bright side, I would never have to worry about rocks falling again!! lol

Take the pvc, roll it in epoxy, then roll it through crunched up live rock. 1/2" pieces should do it... then put a couple of feather dusters on one, and superglue a digitata frag to the other. The digitata will encrust pretty well, and hide the fact that it's a vertical surface.
