wtb megaflow durso standpipe. I have converted my return to a drain on my tank. I would like another megaflow durso to make the adjustment of my drains easier.
Thanks-Paul

Do you need to buy it? Dursos are pretty easy to build.

Pretty much any lfs that sells All-Glass tanks will have them. I saw some at 6th Ave today. BTW, I noticed that they have a much larger brand new freezer and they seem to be making a number of improvements to the facility.

thanks for the help. I think I have it working right now. I have 1800gph after head loss draining out of the stock holes on my 65 AGA. The fix for me was to add a ball valve on the drain at the sump.

that is very dangerous. If anything even slightly obstructs the ball valve it can cause an overflow.

good point dmirza. I will have to have another pipe exit that is high enough to only work in an emergency situation.

Take a look at this idea (there are photos on page 2):

It doesn't get any simpler than this. It uses the same concept as a Durso or Stockman, but is way simpler. I'm about to try a couple of these on my new tank.
