Dont stay near the park its in a very bad area.
Stay either downtown with all the action,or in the Lagrange area.
Go Sox!!!!!!!

Guys, what about the Hyatt at McCormick Place?

BTW, anybody want to put their money where their mouth is? :)

The Hyatt is a very good choice.

The problem with staying at the Hyatt is that it is not in a great neighborhood at all. The area around Comisky park isn't that bad. I grew up in Bridgeport right at 32nd and wells. Although, anything south of 35th street and east of 94 is a bit unsafe. Staying at the Hyatt does have some advantages though. The Shedd aquarium and the Field Museum are just six blocks north of the hyatt. And Chinatown is just three blocks west of there. I don't recommend walking :) Other than the Hyatt there isn't any hotels near Comiskey. If you are looking for a hotel where you can go out and walk around the city, The Hilton towers are just right up the street on Michigan Ave.

Thanks, DD. I am thinking maybe we want to stay closer to downtown (maybe next to Navy Pier).

You'll have a blast at navy pier!
good choice. I belive most of the hotels in that area are gonna cost $$$$$$. There is the 4 seasons, and I believe there is a Sheraton right in the area too.
Have fun.......GO SOX!!!
