House hold PC bulbs

Melev uses a Flood light pc for his refugium, i was wondering if anyone ever use the same type of lightening (PCs 23 watt output 65 watt, etc)
for their yuma frag tanks.

A member of RC said he uses Lights of America for his RBTA. If that works, wouldn't the lighting work for ricordias?

I wouldn't use them because the Kelvin rating is probably really low. I would say they are probably something around the 5000K range. Which you could use to grow macro, but I wouldn't try them for corals. They are probably really yellow.
