I am trying to figure out what size return pump I need for the 220 I am setting up. I Have a question when using the head loss calculator.

The return pump output will go thru a 90 bend then vertically about 3 feet. Then split by use of a "tee" and go about 3 feet each side of the tee to the 2 return tube connections of the tank. The exit for each of the return tubes is approx. 6 feet above the level of the return pump.

do I use 6 feet for the vertical length, even thougth I have 2 outputs that are each 6 feet above the pump? Or do I use 12 feet ??

I am concidering the Sequence Dart as my return pump and using Tunze 6100 kit for the movement inside the tank.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jim:) :D

sorry, thinking about it again,

Probably your figure would be closer to 7-9 feet
