I got this guy about a week ago. I'm wondering what kind it is and where it is from. I'm trying to put up a pic but I cant, any ideas?

Hi,

That image doesn't show enough for me to be sure of the identification; additionally, identification of these animals is not one of my strong points, so unless it was a common species present in some of my references, I couldn't help you, anyway. Sorry. :(
