Hey everyone!
I am looking to set up my first SW tank. I am planning a 120 RR and would like to keep reef safe fish, inverts, and some easy corals. I have been doing lots of research online and have learned so much. I was planning on building the stand and hood myself and placing the largest sump that I can fit under it. I was also interested in using a closed loop to increase the water flow in the tank.
Ok... what skimmer do you recommend? Get an ASM or a EuroReef? If the ER does a better job then I would rather spring for it rather than need to upgrade in a year. Also where is a good (inexpensive) place to order it from?
Thank you for your help. :)

got my euroreef from www.premiumauatics.com great price and since they are located in indiana, it was cheaper shipping for me here on the east coast (got it faster too!).

Try www.yourreef.com (http://www.yourreef.com) I got my G3 from them a few weeks ago. Best price I could find.

good suggestions above. ASM and ER are very close in quality.

if you really want the best price.. buy your skimmer used via RC. look through your local reef club's forum as well as the trading/selling forums here on RC. I've bought a lot of equipment off people this way... only way I could afford this hobby.
