How are the 175's doing nicole....

Yes, they whitened up quite a bit, and seemed to perhaps get dimmer when they whitened? Still a bit blue for my taste, but acceptable.

once they burn in for 6 months they seem to whiten up even more, but it might just be that you get used to them (kinda like that new computer that seems slow in 2 months hehe)

I havent tried XM's. I am not very picky when it comes to lighting though. I just wanted something that would be bright enough for ricordeas, zoas, and my clam but nothing too bright that it would wilt my mushrooms. I don't have any SPS and really don't plan on getting any either. Well, maybe a staghorn or monticap.
