Carlos your best bet is to get a quality skimmer, but quality=$$
if you want a HOB (hang on back) I would go with a Remora, I had one (thanks Maria :) ) and I upgraded to larger pump and it work great, only downside is that it takes up space and adds heat to your tank.
If you have a sump (best way to go, if you dont have a sump, get one) get a good skimmer, I have a ER 5-2 and it works great (that same model would be excellent for your size tank) there are a couple of other models you can try.
There is also the "stand alone" type, basicly they feed off your sump and work great (for the most part). best thing is the pump is not in the water so they don't add heat, bad thing is they take up space.
Let us know what your looking at, and how much your looking to spend. Best bet is ask us before going to buy something so we can give you a "product review" remember the best consumer is an educated one ;)

Becketts are excellent, but need LOTS of gph which means huge pumps. better for larger tanks IMO. venturi with needle wheel pumps are awesome :D

I run a CPR bak pak on my 30g. Always get a skimmer that is rated for a larger tank. Mine is rated for 60g and works great. The Aqua C remora pro is excellent as well like Navy medic said.
