small leak in bulkhead

Just noticed a leak forming where 1" mpt fitting goes into the bulkhead. Is there a way to seal it w/o taking it apart.

Is there teflon tape on MPT?? You can try some PVC cement, flooding the void around the pipe....if it's a strong drip, it may not work. Dry it as best first, then soak it with PVC cement.....that's usually my first step, before taking things apart.
