Was wondering if anyone had some southdown left, i need over 100lbs of it, or if you could point in the right direction i'd really appreciate it!!!!! Thanx!!!!!! maybe a few lbs live to seed.

Southdown also goes under the name Old Castle. They did a comparison on different sand on Reef.org. I'm starting my tank with 200 lbs PLAY SAND and 100 lbs agranonite I'll let you know how it turns out:)

long thread but good info. seems we can't get it down here in south anymore, since the place in south fla closed. let us know if u can find some. fla rock industries over on edgewater/obt may sell sand. take some vinegar with u.
