yesterday i went to a LFS and couldnt resist the SPS, so i desided that maybe one of too small frag wont hurt. i end up spending $130:(

i came home and for my luck, my girlfriend was here and guess what. "you didnt bring any corals for me?" :eek:

well i return today for maybe a nice coral for her. end up spending $100 more.

somebody here has a job for me. i think im gonna need it:(

$130 was for 4 big frags. and some dry goods. but what hurt me more was the $100 for 3 small frags for my girlfriend

If you want to be a human guinea pig, I might have an opening for you on my staff(need to create the neurological testing site first, then you're on the list). Other than that, I've seen people make some good money as singers or sports stars. You should try one of those, easy money for little work. besides these options, I'd say get a job at a pet store with saltwater fish. You get discounts AND money, only problem is you will see your paycheck reinvested in the store you got it from.

jejejej j/k about the job. actually i only have a few month left at hooter so im spending as much as i can now because after that i will be working only part-time. i need to focus on my studies. the my girfriend is the one who will be buying the coral since she makes 2 times has much as i do in her part-time

Agreed- just be glad that she enjoys the hobby like you do.

Let me just say that my husband is one lucky guy in the coral department. Of course, he had to take me snorkling in the caribbean to win me over, but it's a done deal now.

My boyfriend gave me his Via Aqua Multi Skimmer Deluxe...that counts doesn't it? heh

The thing that kills us is that we're both full-time college students still basically living with our parents with only so much tank space and money allotted to the hobby. I'm afraid one day down the road when we have our own house and careers that it will still come down to "Honey, should we eat dinner this month or buy a cluster of yumas?" hahah

that happens to me some time. there are so many thing i havent get yet (like new tire for my car and hers) because of the tank. but after august thing gonna have to change because both will be studying again full time and working only part time. o well i thing im gonna have to get my dad really into reefkeeping.

most of the SPS i have are from SITC. they have some nice corals, and nice size frags.

sea in the city , its by OIA .. i never actually been there cause they have goofy hours but i hear its nice.

no Sea in the city is not by Orlando International Airpot. is near teh Executive Airport.
