I like the taste, the various possibilties to prepare them (or some just raw) and like the way they are.

Pros: Yummy almost any way you make it!
Cons: after feeding it to husband I typically spend the evening struggling to get my head out from under the covers. PPPP UUUUU!

Come on people think cabbage - cabbage doesn't grow in gutters so get your mind out of them :)

Don't take it if you are on the blood thinner Coumadin, generic= warfain. It reverses the thinning properties. Otherwise eat til your colon pays.

Not when cooked with butter, lots of sweet, sweet butter...
I second the colcannon!! Especially when prepared by the method directly above.

a variation of cabbage is flowering kale. it comes in bright purple and white and makes a lovely addition to any flower garden. :)

My wife and I had ornamental cabbage for our center pieces at our wedding - matched our colors nicely, pretty to look at, and dirt cheap :)

can't stand the stuff. smells like dank sox when you boil it, and smells worse after you eat it. only good in coleslaw with a dash of horseraddish, but still kills on the outtake!!!!
