do I need to oil my little giant pump?

I have a little giant 4MDQX-SC, do I ever need to oil it or do any other routine cleaning/work?

Oil every six months use a light oil like 3 in 1. You may also want to clean the impellor every 6-12 months.

I'm assuming I just remove the two little yellow plugs and add a couple drips of oil there?

Wouldn't a little bit of good ol' vasoline to the trick too??? Definately need to give that propellar a good regular cleaning...

The oil needs to run down a tube to the bearing on the motor shaft. Vasoline would not "run" down to the bearing.
