I would personaly DIY my lighting using various ballasts. I guess the main question is, what do you want to keep?

Do you mean DIY retro kit? I don't have a canopy to mount it to. What I want to do is get Metal Halide light. I am currently using the Coralife 48" 2 65 watt 10,000K and 2 65 watt Actinic. I'm thinking about selling the corallife 48 and getting the MH. If I have the metal halide do I need Actinic light? I’m still a beginner so please bear with me.
