custom stand and canopy?

right now i have my 30.gal tank set-up on my desk, and i just noticed the water level is about 1/2 inch lower on the left side, so i'm gunna move it into my basement and build a stand for it. does any1 have any tips or pictures of custom stands for their tanks that you made to give me some good ideas? thanks, and BTW im going to be putting a 10. gal sump underneath it if that helps.
