I just got my lockline order and I am short a 3/4 in adaptor. So before I go ordering another one and wasting shipping money is there a local store that carries it or anyone who has an extra 3/4in threaded NPT locline adaptor? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

Yeah I think that the $6.00 shipping would not be worth the drive. Looks like I'll have to order it in the morning. Don't you hate that when a project hinges on one package coming in and when you get it you have to reorder something else?

Yeah, no matter how much planning and re-planning I do ahead of time, there is at least one thing I overlook.

Hey Paladin how is the 29 coming along? Mine is almost ready for a water test as soon as I get that adapter.

I'm still in the middle of getting the stuff I've ordered. I've ordered from 3 or 4 different vendors, and I've gotten almost everything, though some are back-ordered--which is a good thing, because like I said, there were some things I forgot, so I called the vendor up and just added the items to the whole order. Speaking of which, some of the back-ordered stuff was from marinedepot. If you want, and if they haven't shipped out all my stuff yet, I can add a 3/4" loc-line adapter for you and just mail it. A 32 cents stamp is much cheaper than what you'll probably have to pay otherwise. Let me know.

Raddogz-

Is it 3/4 in? If it is can you email me with your phone number so we can work things out.

Paladin- If this doesn't work out with raddogz that would be awesome if you could order me one. What is the time line on your order? I'll hopefully let you know tomorrow either way.

Thanks guys,

mark

Mark, timeline just depends if Marinedepot already completed and shipped my order or not. If raddogz doesn't have one for you, let me know right away and then I'll find out if I can make it work.

Thanks Paladin but I think it is going to work out with raddogz. Thank you so much for the offer though.

Mark, on another note, you mentioned that you drilled your tank. I am going to also, but was wondering if it's really necessary to use both Dremel bits. I have #7134, which I know I'll use, but do I need to use #7103 too? Can I get by without it? Thanks.

I only used the tapered diamond tipped bit. I traced my circle to cut out and strated the cut by drilling a hole about 1/8" inside the line. For the inititial hole go slow and work the bit up and down because if you push too hard down you may crack the glass. Don't worry about it too much just go slow. Then you can follow the line arround working the bit up and down the cut. If you have any more specific questions let me know. Oh and set the dremel to the highest speed if you can. Good luck, it is very easy.

Cool--thanks! I finally found the ball tip bit (#7103) at Orchard's, but it was $15! Gonna return it now and save some bucks knowing I can just use the tapered bit.
