One of those big hawaiian feather dusters that I won in the raffle today vacated its tube on the way back home from the raffle.

Any ideas on what to do with it so that it doesn't become dinner as soon as I put it in the tank? I was thinking about putting it in some 1/2" PVC but I'm not sure that thay's the best idea.

Thanks,
Luke.

nm ... it pulled itself back into its tube when I was putting it in the tank. Hopefully it stays that way.

Just make sure that you don't stress it in the tank. Try and keep optimal conditions for it, and target feed it.

ALso make sure you don't have any fish that nip at it or inverts crawling on it.

I had several do the exact same thing. They eventually lost their crowns. I have heard that if that happens they will re-grow them, however my dusters kept leaving their tubes, and eventually the perc I had picked at them causing them to die.
