Is that hair algae?

gkmartinez
03/14/2005, 05:18 PM
Yes! it sucks. The dark short stuff is and the long light green is feather caulerpa. Worse than the hair algae. I was thinking it was the oceanic and switched to the tropic marin. We will see what happens.

I want to get more snails but the hermits kill them off.

BTW thanx for noticing.

Here's a shot of mine. It's been up for about a year and a half,
mostly filled with stonies, though I do have a few zoanthids and
such.... The image is a bit cut off at the ends.

JVHam are those Maximas on the bottom of your tank? You have t-5's right? Are you getting good results at that depth? How deep is it? I'm thinking about getting some more clams but wasn't sure how the high light species would do at depths...

I've currently got a crocea in the rock work, and a squamosa, derasa and hippo on the bottom. All are showing great results but just hesitant to try the higher light clams on the bottom...
