View Full Version : Custom Acrylic Manuf in NE Ohio?

Folks,
I just blew out my 15H that I am using for my sump. Got another 15 high and cracked it while plumbing it... not a happy camper. Anybody know of someone in NE Ohio, or mail order, who will build me an acrylic version of a 15H? Dimmensions are 20X10X18" (I think). Nothing fancy just the tank and one 3/4" bulkhead. Only other requirement is that I need to be able to hang my Bakpak on it.

I would probably ask Larry Summers first. Also, see if George Webber (aka Geo) or John Janda can help you out.

FCA (First Class Aquatics) might be able to do it but I couldn't guess what he might charge.

There is a guy in the Strongsville area that does custom acrylic - I think he posts as Acrylicman on here.

Lots of options available but it's gonna be quite a bit more expensive than the cheap AGA tanks.

Larry Summers is a great option. He does some great work. You can probably catch him on ohioreefers.com.

Good lucking one - I definitely agree with using an acrylic tank for the sump - it will make your life easier.

Definately contact Larry (Summers) He built my 42 gallon acrylic sump with baffles and probe holders and everything... Great work at a great price...

Also check out Ostrom Manufacturing in Mt. Gilead. They did my custom show tank, and for the price no one around could even come close. www.ostrommfg.com

Ask for Jeri, and she can quote you a price. I picked mine up from the factory and got a nice little tour. Great place and Lots of Tanks....
