By now many are familiar with the Chemistry Calculator that helps with calculations of the amount of supplements to add to maintain Calcium, Alkalinity and Magnesium and with the Support Page to help with adjusting a Calcium Reactor.

As both calculators require the input of the Net water volume in the system I have added a new Volume Calculator.

You can access the page by clicking on the link next to the volume input cell of the Chemistry or Ca reactor calculators or directly at this link:

Chemistry calculator at:

http://home.comcast.net/~jdieck1/chem_calc3.html

Calcium Reactor Help page and calculator at:

http://home.comcast.net/~jdieck1/reactor.html

All E-Mails with comments and suggestions are very welcome.

Enjoy!
Jose

I may be misunderstanding, but I don't get taken to a page with info on it from any of those links.

Thanks Mike. What a diference a little number 1 could make!

I like the volume calculator. I had my LR/sand taking up more space than it really was.

That was also my first impresion until the calculations were done.
Note that a lot of the sand bulk is intersticial open area which is now filled with water which is accounted as the total volume.

Yeah, that's true, didn't think of that. I was just subtracting out the total sand volume.

It's a great tool!! Thanks a lot for providing it!! I use your dosing calculator fairly regularly as well.
