VHO lights

I have 90 with 4 46.5" VHO bulbs. What brand and combination of bulbs should I replace my old ones with. Right now I have URI's; 1 daylight, 1 actinic white, and 2 actinic. Just thought I'd get informed before I bought new ones. And how long should I use the old ones? I've seen anywhere from 1 to 4 years.

I use 2 Super Actinics and 2 Actinic Whites (all URIs). 18 to 24 months would be about right on an IceCap ballast (or the URI A4). As to other ballasts...I can't really say.

I would stick with the URIs myself. I too use them and like them. The 10,000K lamp is too pink, but when combined right they are great bulbs. They pretty much started the VHO revolution and have been in it the longest. They also all have internal reflectors.
