My tank has just gone through the cycling process (2 1/2 weeks since I set it up). I have noticed some very small white bug like cretures crawling on my glass. I thought they were tiny air bubbles at first but when I looked really close they were moving.Does anyone know what these are? How do I get rid of them or do I need to? I only have 3 damsels an about 60 lbs. of live rock in the tank. Thanks
They are copepods. They are a good thing :)
Enter "white bugs" into the search feature & read up on them...

Could be either just good "bugs" (i.e. copepods, amphipods) or worse case, it could be ick. I've seen ick trophants crawling on glass before. How are your 3 damsels doing?

I started with 6....I now have 3 which seem to be doing fine. They all eat good and are active. How can you tell the difference between ick and pods?

Go to www.images.google.com type in copepod and then amphipod. Do they look like either of those?
