my new tank

hi guys,

i currently have a 66 gallon tank which i have an external canister filter on but i am upgrading soon to a 100 gallon with a sump and a skimmer and everything else.

my question is do i still need a canister filter on my new tank or if i have a dsb and live rock in the sump will that be good enough filtration?

I think you would be find to do without the canister. Howmuch LR are you going to have?

Save the canister to run phosban and carbon through. That's what I'm going to do when I finally get a skimmer....

Dito. Save it for carbon...it is good to have something like that around.
