I've been searching the web for a complete package of janitors. I see several combinations....anybody care to share their experiences or suggestions?

When I started my I inherited a algae INFESTED tank. My friend pointed me to the online janitor packages.
Those packages were like $60-$90.
I said heck no.
Went to the LFS bought some small snails for $10.
Reduced nutrients, phosphates and nitrates and now the algae infestation is under control.
Waste of money IMO.

I just got a order from reeftopia.com, I even rushed the acclimation a bit. All 100 or so inverts, snails, crabs, stars, cucumbers, and shrimp survived the trip. orders over $125.00, free shipping.

Liveaquaria and their partner, etropicals, have good deals. BTW-don't listen to Ti. While good tank husbandry and improved water conditions can help to keep a tank/algae under control, clean-up crew members will help avoid potential problems, and they are fun to watch.
