This snake like worm has a head that is not seen in photos. It is red and white/tan striped. This is the only time I have seen this in the tank and it did not stay out long for pictures. The tank has been up since 1999.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/11604tank_3.jpg http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/11604tank_5-med.jpg http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/11604tank_4_Large_Web_view-med.jpg

Hi,

Other than that it appears to be a worm, I am afraid there isn't anything I can tell you from the images, they are simply too out of focus to be of much use.

Many worms, and many types of worms, get to be quite large.

Sorry, but I can't help. :(

It was only out for about 3 min. so I did not get much of a chance. The skin was smooth and I think it was hairless. It looked jusk like a snake with a distinct head and was approx. 3-4 inches long and slender. It moved across this one rock and the head entered a hole after traveling about 4-5 inches and disappeared. Is there a library of worm pictures?

No, there is no library of worm pictures. Sorry. There are simply too many types of worms for this to be feasible.
