Does it have everything Ill need? besides the live rock, hydrometer and ro water and salt.

Well it just depends on what you want to use it for. For instance if you want to raise clams or something like that you will need more light. also live rock and sand should be on your list unless you are going bare bottom.

Well I plan to buy the tank, live rock, live sand, crushed coral, and a ro unit. I plan to stock it with etheir true purcula clowns or ocellaris and a good clean up crew.

Which nano cube do you have the OG or the DX ?

I dont know the one they have at the lfs. Ill look it up.

It will have a DX right on the front above the nano cube sticker. If not then it's the OG. :)

I'm new to this hobby, so I'm still spending way more than my wife think's I should (wait til she sees the cc bill)..

Your going to need a 50w heater and a timer would be nice to have.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious here, but your also going to need a test kit. That tests for (at a minimum)
pH
ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate

a heater probably i have one in mine and you might wnat to upgrade the pump for more flow and if you want mor elight you can easily add some small t5 actinicts two will fit with no mods to the cover this would give you i think its 10 more watts which isnt alot but every bit helps look at www.nanocustoms.com

Well I have a year of freshwater so Im not a total newbie buts it better to be told something you already now rather not knowing it. A plan for a master saltwater kit, and 2 25 watt heaters incase of one goes wrong, I have a safty net.

This thread has links to basic setup information. I would recommend starting there. I run 2 12g tanks, including a Nano DX, but have a lot of supporting equipment.

Thanks for the link, its very useful. Ive already done a ton of research from the articles on this site but wont hurt to look.
