requirements to grow mangroves

i have a sump with an 18w light on and about 6 -8 inches between the bottom of the sump and the lights. do i ahve enough light and space to grow mangroves? ive looked on a few websites to see what the people who sell say is requires, but i cant get a straight forward response.

You might be able to grow them for a while, but I'd think they need a bit more room over time. The lighting should be okay.
