Well, I guess it all depends on what you want to keep in the tank. Is it going to be a fowlr or do you plan to have corals?

I want to put in some easy to take care of corals, nothing to complicated, because I am new to this.

That first pic looks like a tank full of DTs (as in DT live phytoplankton).

Its a joke (I hope) looks like a sand storm to me.:)
Okay, you say ite 48x12x22? That is a 55 gallon tank not an 80 gallon, keep that in mind when you order live rock, you order for an 80g tank you will have a room full of rock:)
Looking good, I like the sump, what skimmer you going to use

forgot the lighting, if you want to keep anything almost, here is the new setup from Orbit.
e-Bay ORBIT (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=46314&item=4362893054&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)
they also have PC only setup that are a lot cheaper, with 48" tank there a tons of options, just depends wht you want tioo keep:p

The dimensions are 48x22x18 right?
If you are looking at only keeping low light corals then just stick with PC's. But trust me you will want the more light hungry stuff one day and why not get the best stuff you can right now. I would say look at T5 or Metal Halide
Uhh Scuba thats an 82 gallon tank :-D
Unless I'm slightly deranged...48x22x18= 19008/231= 82
For lighting I would look into at least t5 tek lights from www.reefgeek.com
T5's are relatively cheap but are very good for lighting, have low maintanance cost, and allow you to keep almost anything.
Good luck
