tbs live rock 10lbs base rock 10lbs.

Week 1
PH 7.8 ppm should be 8.2ppm
ammonia 0.25 ppm should be 0.0ppm
No2 0.25 ppm should be 0.0ppm
no3 should be 40ppm 0.0

week 2
PH 7.8 ppm should be 8.2ppm
ammonia 0.33 ppm should be 0.0ppm
No2 5.0 ppm should be 0.0ppm
no3 20 should be 0.0ppm

week 3
PH 8.2 ppm should be 8.2ppm
ammonia 0.0 ppm should be 0.0ppm
No2 .25 ppm should be 0.0ppm
no3 0 should be 0.0ppm


learning a lot as i go only inhabitants in the tank are 5 hermit crabs some hard corals very tiny like the size of a dime or nickle.
those came with the tbs rock... i also found 2 crabs that were hairy and mean looking so i gave them to my friend, after i found 2 of my hermit crabs dead since they ahve been gone nothing else has died... ill keep everone posted thanks for any input.

i am now going to add 10 hermit crabs red legged and 10 snails to start the cleaning crew.. any oppisitions

If you get ten hermit crabs those ten snails won't last long. In the wild you might find one hermit crab per square yard or two.

what do you feed hermit crabs and snails anyway..

The snails like the tank algee. The carbs you can use broccoli believe it on not! Just a small piece of store bought froozen broccoli microwaved for 10-15 sec to defrost. The boys will love it! After the tank is really up and running they will exist on in-tank sources but some times supplementation is good up front.

thanks.. ill give the broc a try btw i havet really seen any alge at all its been 3 weeks so when does it happen should it happen.
