Just wondering what would be recommended for a new and last fish(es) to by 90 gallon tank (see specs below).

I have 2 per clowns and 1 medium sized yellow tang. The tank is 2 years old or a little more. I would prefer a blue fish but something else would be fine as well. The tank is soon to be replaced with a 200 plus gallon within the year (finishing basement).

Here are the current corals/inverts that a fish(es) would have to be compatible with:

1 medium-large green torch
2 medium anchors
5 acros
1 cabbage
1 large sachrophyton
4 mushroom rocks
2 tridacnid clams
1 favia
1 medium sized green carpet anemone
1 medium bubble coral

1 fan worm
many blue hermits
some turbo and astrea snails
1 serpent star
1 blue leukia star
1 cleaner shrimp
:D :D :D

Blue fish? Easy, blue chromis :D cheap and pretty! You could get 5 or 6 of them and when you transfer to the bigger tank they might school together.

Have you thought about a dwarf angel of sorts? It may be risky with the clams, as sometimes they'll nip. But a Flame or maybe a bi-color can add a lot of contrast to the tank. As for a blue fish... other than a hippo tang nothing really comes to mind. Unless you go with a goby or blenny that might fit your desire.

Blue assessors, maybe. Supposedly, they'll be available in the spring or so captive-raised. Otherwise, they can be hard to find.

This book is pretty useful, IMO:

I would really like 3 very small hippos but then again, thats probably not a good idea. Darn tempting though

a royal gramma is not really blue, but would at a nice contrast to your current fish. if you are set on a blue, try out a blue gudgeon goby. they are pretty neat fish.
