I am thinking of using a 20 gallon sump / fuge and wanted some feedback. The sump would hold an ASM G-2X skimmer, heater, refugium (middle section) and return pump. An auto top off will be installed on the return compartment. Am I crazy or will all this fit in a 20 gallon AGA with enough room for a reasonable fuge size ?
Is this sump even big enough ?

Thanks,

Jack

I have a 58 gallon Oceanic and used a 20H for my sump. I have an ER CS5-2 and two heaters in the down section, a MAG 9.5 for a return and auto top off in the center section and a small fuge on the right.

I'm still curing rock in my tank but if I had to do it over again I'd get the longest tank that would fit in the space. I think either a 20L or a 30 if it'll fit. Space is way to tight in my sump for my liking and I really didn't gain that much for storage going with a 24" tank.

I had to remove the back center brace to put the sump in then I put it back in with a couple of screws.A 20 is better than nothing.
