go to a local garden stone supplier and ask for lace rock or caribbean reef rock. There is a local garden shop on the corner of Rt 82 and Broadview Road in Broadview Hts. just down the road from me, I picked up about 60 lbs of dry base rock from him and it is good stuff, lighter than hirocks and better shapes IMHO. He has lace rock and caribbean reef rock (or at least he did) nice guy also has tuffa rock if interested but I don't like the stuff cause it is too soft.

Tuffa I think was like $.75 cents a lb. Lace was $1.00 and reef rock was $1.25 or $1.50 a lb.

Sorry Can't remember name but I pass it everyday to work as it is right by my house. I can check and have the name tomorrow.

Yes, that is the one... big piles of all different rocks out front.

I just soaked mine in warm water and vinegar for a while and rised well... they have worked with no problems and a heck of a lot cheaper... than most places
