I am going to use a 29Gal glass tank for my sump and was looking to use Acrylite to seperate the refuge ect.. No one in my area sells Acrylite and I have heard that it is tne best as far as staining and such. Since it is not the main part of my sump (i.e. exterior walls) would it be ok to use another product? I have found a glass vendor that sells Lexan and Plexiglass. would this be an acceptable alternative? Any suggestions?

Plexiglass is acrylic. Acrylite is a name brand made by Cyro. Check with a local sign company, they should have plenty.

can the glass shop custom cut glass for you that would work better in a glass sump than acylic

Spartech Polycast G is another hgh quality cell-cast acrylic. But, I would do as kakan recommended and stick with glass dividers, that's your best bet for a glass sump.
