Stacking two tanks for sump?

I'm going to build a new stand for a 20 or 30 gallon tank, approx 24" long. One of my goals is to build it so i can use one of my extra 10 gallon tanks as a sump/refugium. But I have 2 10g tanks... does anyone have any ideas on how I could build a stand to have 2 10g tanks in it without sitting them side by side? Maybe stacking them?

I'm up for any ideas.
