The bulb switch is awesome.. In these pics I had 2 xm20k and 2 cv 14k's.. The xm20k just make the colors pop even more..

tank looks awesome!
is that a bare bottom with just a little sand coverage?

Benny, its BB with Southdown mixed with epoxy making a solid substrate for crazy flow.. turning about 8500 gph in this 240... Growth is amazing and colors are awesome too..

Here is the same tort after switching the lights and 3 weeks of growth. In the second pic 2 of the 4 lights had already switched off.

wow! 4months! looks amazing. I'm guessing you moved up from a previous tank.. I'll be happy if I have half that much life a year from now

Ken, only about 4 corals came from my old tank.. I got ride of most of my stuff cause I was down for about 2 month after moving into the new house... None of them were sps either.. Some old LPS and zoos I had.

Epon, that would be my mini tsunami....
so is it an illusion or did it actually seperate from the bottom and crack ?

In the second pic, I was kind of wondering that myself.

where in the state are you?
I am pushing my tank in a similiar direction as yours minus the zeo. but black starboard on the bottom :) it is nice to see a young tank looking so good.

I am in central IL.. Yes the epoxy bed cracked.. I lined the bottom with acrylic and it warped from heat. I left the lights on the empty tank after draining the fresh water. Got home to find it warped and cracked. Nothing I could do from that point on. I use it as excuse to get more corals for the faux bed to cover it hahah. I just snapped some new ones about 45 min ago.. I will post some of those in a few aswell.

TY, I feed him 2-3 times weekly.. I use silversides, shrimp, formula1, squid. He gets a variety and does well with this routine...

when this tank gets going, you will have a serious crowding issue.
i guess you'll just have to starting giving away frags then :D
i am what? 3rd in line right?
