hey guys well i just ordered a new 10" tall canopy and a 2x175 MH hamilton setup

however i have a couple questions

i ordered with 14k bulbs and am wondering if actinics really make a huge difference with the 14k's?

how many of you run actinic with 14ks and how many dont? just lookin for some input

i have a second 60 gallon tank that will be an agressive fo tank and i want to move my 2x96 pc setup into that tank once i get this one squared away, so i dont want to leave it in there just for actinic!

I'd stick without the actinics for the 14k Hamilton's, they're pretty nice on their own.

Got any friends or local reefers? IMHO the best way to judge a certain lighting rig's looks is to see it in person. Otherwise, check out this site - just keep in mind that it's 250w bulbs, which are likely to be a bit diferent:

But, looking at those pics, you can definitely tell that actinics don't make much difference on anything except 10kk and lower bulbs.
