I am moving to Orlando and cant take my tanks with me, but I am using my income tax to buy a 24g custom nano, I have 1/4 of a deer/cow/something Skull thats been bleached and cured and was wondering if it was possible to keep it in the tank as baserock and to enhance the look of the tank. I think it would look neat with coriline algae and would be really cool if one of the fish made a home out of it.

I think that hilarious... and cool, in a warped kinda way. Yeah, just boil it up, not too vigorously, cuz the bone may crack from the heat, this'll help leach whatever chemicals may be in there.

Yea I figgured that Its been soaked in bleach to turn it white and kill all bacteria from decomp. but I alway boil rock (other than the live stuff) and what not before adding it to an aquarium. It will be awhile before its up and going, Im going to school in Florida starting March and as soon as I move in I am gonna start to set the tank up. Ill try to post some pics along the way in a new thread.
