what type of puffers will eat what type of corals?

do you have corals in your tank right now? If you do I'd rather not chance putting a puffer in there. It not that they really eat corals, they just like to gnaw on things. If you have a puffer already and no corals. You could try by putting a frag in there and seeing what happens. Every fish is unique in what they will and won't eat. For example, when I had my puffer, it would never touch the cleaner shrimp, but that's the exeption. When I went reef, I just gave up the puffer and didn't want to take the chance of it destroying my investment.

i don't have a puffer or a coral i was just curious.. i really like the coarals and the puffers..but i would rather have a nice looking reef with a lot of coral than just have a puffer..i think im just going to make a reef with alot of nice looking coral and forget about the puffer..i really like them but if it's going to mess up my investment then ill just forget about it.
