Hi everyone, I have had a 29g saltwater tank set up for the past year. Now I have bought a 55g tank and want to transfer over the inhabitants of my old 29 g tank to the new one. The 55g tank is going in the same place as the old 29g tank. Anyone got any helpful tips so I don't lose anything?

Get yourself some Rubbermaid containers and drain as much water as you can from your tank. Put a heater and powerhead in, and place any livestock you have in one, and your LR in another. Move/setup your new tank and add new water along with your old water, LR, and add your livestock back in.

Monitor your water quality for the next few weeks. If you see that it is starting to cycle again, do water changes.
