Cleaner Shrimp does Dental

My Royal Gramma and Cleaner Shrimp have a fascinating relationship. The Shrimp was one of the first inhabitants of the tank and the RG just joined the crew recently. The RG established his cave-territory right below a rock the Cleaner loved to hang out under. The Cleaner is always trying to clean the RG, but the RG can't seem to decide whether he wants to be cleaned or drive everyone away from his cave. The other day, the Cleaner had hopped down onto the RG and was trying to clean him. The RG opened his mouth, what I thought was an attempt to warn, to show hostility. Well, the Cleaner started cleaning inside the RG's mouth! It was one of the craziest things I have seen in my tank yet! Anyone else have any crazy Cleaner stories?

Ive seen a similar thing with a cleaner shrimp and a maroon clown. Very cool relationship.

I have seen video of cleaner shrimp and cleaner wrasses inside the mouths of moray eels and giant groupers. The fish and shrimp exhibited no fear of being eaten and the fish being cleaned showed no signs of wanting to make a meal of these guys.

I have had a cleaner shrimp get insied a snoflake eels mouth and clean his teenth.

I have an Imax video where a cleaner shrimp goes inside of a divers mouth and goes to work. It is awesome to see.

I just witnessed this last night when my cleaner went into my Kole Tang's mouth! pretty cool!

My cleaner just works on my arm when it is in the tank. I don't have any fish in the 110g refuge, so I haven't witness the cleaner working on any fish.
