PH Waaaay to high

Hi there

This morning I woke up and saw my pinpoint monitor showing a reading of 7.92. I used some buffer , mixed it well with a maxi jet in a small drum, and put the mixed water in the tank. As soon as I did, the PH went sky rocket up. Its now at 8.72!!!


How the hell do I lower that???

I would give it a little time. I think it is going to come down some on its own. What did you use to buffer it?

7.92 before your dailiy light cycle is started isnt that bad...

Still 8.75

I just changed 10 gallons with fresh ro water... and it didnt budge it...


I buffered it with Seachem ... 4 teaspoons... 100 gallon tank
