Squiggly concentric lines???

Folks,

What critter makes squiggly concentric lines on glass. I woke to this little zig-zaggy, white line going around on my glass. This is the 2nd time I've seen it. My wife scrubbed it off the glass 1st time.

I tied looking at the leading edge w/a Mag glass but couldn't see the critter...

Whatever it is, Is it bad? Looks harmless so far.

I think I've heard of cerith snails leaving those squiggly little lines. They are eggs. I don't really know if they hatch out into little snails or if they go through a planktonic stage, though. Search for cerith snail eggs and you should find something there.
